4/3 Wetsuits

Shop 4/3 steamers for colder Victorian surf, dawn sessions and windier days. A 4/3 adds warmth through the body while still allowing shoulder movement for paddling. Use this page to compare fit, zip style, seam construction and whether boots, gloves or a hood will help.

Who should choose a 4/3?

Choose 4/3 if you surf through Victorian winter, start early, stay out longer or get cold in a 3/2.

Will a 4/3 restrict paddling?

It can feel warmer and slightly heavier than a 3/2. A correct fit and flexible shoulder panels make the biggest difference.

Chest zip or back zip?

Chest zips can feel more sealed in cold water. Back zips are easier to enter and exit.

Do I need winter accessories?

Boots are often the first add-on. Gloves and hoods help when wind, cold water or long sessions make your hands or head cold.

How should it fit?

Firm through the torso and neck with no loose folds. If shoulders feel locked up, try another size or cut.
