Can polyester resin go on an epoxy board?

Do not use polyester resin on EPS foam. It can damage the foam. Use epoxy-safe resin for epoxy/EPS boards.

When should I use UV cure resin?

UV cure resin is useful for quick ding repairs when you can work cleanly and cure the repair under sun or a UV light.

Why is my resin still tacky?

It may need more UV exposure, correct catalyst, better temperature or a compatible finish coat depending on the resin type. Follow the product instructions closely.

Do I need Q-cell or fibre fill?

Use filler or fibre-filled resin to bridge deeper chips and holes. Use cloth when the repair needs strength across a crack or open area.

If you are unsure whether a board is epoxy or PU, ask before using resin. The wrong resin can make a small repair worse.
