Do I need FCS II or Futures fins?

Match the fins to the boxes in your board. FCS II fins fit FCS II boxes, Futures fins fit Futures boxes, twin-tab fins fit older FCS-style plugs, and single fins fit longboard centre boxes.

What size surfboard fins should I choose?

Start with rider weight, then adjust for board type and waves. Medium fins suit many lighter to average-weight surfers, large fins add hold and drive for heavier surfers or powerful surfing, and smaller fins release more easily.

Should I ride a thruster or quad?

A thruster is the safest all-round choice for control and predictable turning. A quad usually adds speed and hold down the line, especially in fast, clean or hollow waves.

When do twin fins or keels make sense?

Twin fins and keels suit fish, retro shapes and wider tails where you want easy speed and a loose feeling. They are fun in small to medium waves but usually need more care in solid or choppy surf.

What fin accessories should I keep with my board?
