A full length wetsuit, or steamer, covers arms and legs and is the main choice for cooler surf.

3/2 or 4/3?

Choose 3/2 for milder sessions and more flexibility. Choose 4/3 for colder water, wind and longer time in the water.

How should the shoulders feel?

Firm but not locked up. You should be able to paddle without the suit fighting each stroke.

How do I reduce flushing?

Choose the right size and check the neck, wrist and ankle seals. Chest zip suits can also feel more sealed.
